Aloha Kakou,
“Service Above Self,” spoken often in Rotary, involved Rotarians preparing the world, country, state and local community for the “future.” Whether it is our future community leaders (we involve and help keiki), the environment (clean-ups to planting native foliage) to broader scale international projects like Polio Plus (assuring the eradication of the disease) and clean potable water in rural towns and villages, Rotarians are “People of Action.”
I’m looking forward to our signature Hamakua Marsch community service project this week. See you there!
