Blind Wine Tasting Showdown: Sonoma vs. Napa

Join the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise for a friendly, palate-testing showdown as we compare two iconic wine regions, without the labels. Enjoy two 4‑oz blind tastings (one from each region), light appetizers, and cast your vote for the winner.

Here from a past Malama Mentors scholarship recipient.

We’ll also spread a little aloha by writing graduation cards for local high school seniors.

A percentage of proceeds supports Common Grace’s High School Seniors Kindness Scholarships.

River of Life Mission Supplies Dr DROP OFF AVAIL

Drop off of Saturday, June 20, 9:00am to 11:00am at Kaimuki Tree Well project (project is 9-10am)RoCKS compassion to help our community is deeply rooted.  Supporting the homeless is a crucial, multifaceted endeavor that promotes community health, safety, and human dignity.  This River of Life Mission supplies drive will provide nutrition, sanitation and dignity with proper footwear.

Please help by donating the items shown on the flyer or your money donation will be used to purchase the items.

Kaimuki Tree Well - Adopt a Tree Well

RoCKs service to our local community.  The trees and plants add to the ambiance of historic Kaimuki town.  While you are there, check out the signs on the trees which say "Adopted by the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise."

Event Details:
This is a clean-up by members(and friends) of our tree well and along Waialae Avenue, trash pick-up and weed removal
Activity: Light gardening of the tree wells and surrounding area.
To Wear: Rotary shirt and/or comfortable clothes for gardening
To Bring: Work gloves.
Safety vests will be provided
Parking: on-street or municipal lot.
Meeting Location: In front of Cow Cow Tea, 3620 Waialae Avenue, near Waialae Avenue and Koko Head Avenue, mauka side.

River of Life Mission delivery/tour

Please join RoCKs in the delivery of the many food items, clothing, slippers and shoes to the River of Life Mission.  They will be distributed by the mission to people in need.

Also, if you have not been to the mission, there will be a tour of the facility so you can see how one organization provides for the needs of hundreds of people islandwide.  Preparation, storage and distribution and an active volunteer group is key to the organization.

Parking - on street meter parking (strictly enforced).  Municipal lots nearby.

Our friend and chef Hilda will be there to greet us.  Mahalo for your support!

Out of the Darkness Oahu Walk 2026

The Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise supports our community effort in recognizing mental health needs of residents.  Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.  The local Oahu Walk, brings awareness, support and healing to families, friends, colleagues and many others.

The Walks are an opportunity to find a supportive community of people who get it, to know you're not alone, and to make a difference together.

Walks are between 1 to 3 miles are non-competitive. The route and additional information specific to the O'ahu Walk will be added closer to Walk day.

Our program includes an opening ceremony, activities of hope and healing, resource tables, and complimentary honor beads for every participant.
