RoCKs Members Wes Mun, Calvin Hara, and Ryan Kawamoto, spent the morning of March 28, 2026 on the slopes of Diamond Head backing the Niu Valley Middle School Interact Club for their service project with Kuilei Cliffs, a non-profit organization that does weekly clean-ups there. These students showed up ready to work, clearing invasive species, and helping to take ownership of their community space.
Kuilei Cliffs continues to be an inspiring effort right in the shadow of Lēʻahi focused on protecting the land, improving green space, and mālama ʻāina in a way that’s hands-on.
And the students were treated to Root Beer Floats by Wes Mun afterwards!
