Aloha Kakou,
Water is a natural resource we use every day; from the time we awaken to the time we sleep. As Rotarians, we recognize that clean water, sanitation and hygiene education are necessities for a healthy environment and a productive life.
Rotary International recognizes the month of March as WASH, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Month. Through the support of local Rotary clubs like Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise, infrastructure water projects have brought life’s necessity to the people of Papua New Guinea, Lebanon, Guatemala, Tanzania and the Philippines, to name just a few. Read more about the projects at https://www.rotary.org/en/our-causes/providing-clean-water
Given our state dependency on water aquafers and rain, we know that water conservation, proper usage and malama of the land is very important. Mahalo for all of your conscious effort locally and internationally. Have a wonderful week.
Mahalo Nui Loa,
Calvin Hara
President
