The Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise was honored to have Hawaiʻi State Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke as a special guest speaker. LG Luke spoke about her immigrant roots, her early education initiatives to add needed classrooms and train more teachers for preschools across the state, efforts to improve broadband internet to Hawaiʻi, and information about the Maui recovery efforts. We were also joined by twenty residents of Kahala Nui. A big mahalo to Kahala Nui for hosting this special event!
