First, I would like to express my gratitude. It’s truly an honor to be your incoming president.
To Calvin, thank you for everything you’ve done this past year. Your leadership, calm presence, and steady guidance helped keep us grounded and moving forward. You’ve made a lasting impact on this club, and we’re all so grateful for your time, effort, and heart.
To the board and every club member who’s stepped up in big and small ways, thank you! This club works because of the people in it. Every project, every event, every meeting we pull off is all because of your commitment to each other and our community.
I also want to express my gratitude for your trust in me. It means a lot, and I don’t take it lightly. I know I have some big shoes to fill, but I’m excited to take on this role and serve alongside all of you.
This year’s Rotary theme is Unite for Good, and I believe that’s what we need right now. A lot is happening in the world, some good and some bad, but what makes Rotary special is that we show up. We bring people together. We find ways to help, to connect, and to make things better - one project, one conversation, one act of service at a time.
This year, my hope is that we keep building on that spirit. Let’s have fun, support each other, and dream a little bigger. Let’s bring in new people, try new ideas, and keep making a difference in ways that feel real and meaningful.
So thank you again for your support, for believing in me, and for being part of this incredible club. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to get started.
